It is that phase of general education that contributes to the total growth and development of the child. Primarily through selected movement experiences and physical activities.
The Physical Education program here at Gubser emphasizes the following categories:

1. PHYSICAL FITNESS: This includes the components of fitness, the skill to develop each component, and the knowledge of what is a healthy range of each component.

2. FUNDAMENTAL MOTOR SKILLS: Teaching the fundamental motor skills where students are getting many opportunities for practice and development of the skill, and at some point the skill is incorporated into a game situation.

3. SOCIAL SKILLS AND SPORTMANSHIP: Students learning to work cooperatively in groups, learning how to overcome adversity, and learn how to win and lose.

4. SAFETY: Each student needs to have proper shoes (they need to stay on) no flip flops or high heels.

It is hoped that our students will have an active healthy safe environment at home as well one that emphasizes good sportsmanship. Thank you for supporting this program.
